ZippyApp - Recruitment Marketing is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Cashier to join our store team in Town of West Seneca, NY. You will handle cash register transactions, assist customers, and help maintain a clean, welcoming store environment.

Ideal candidates have strong math skills, excellent customer service, and flexibility to work a varied schedule. Training provided; opportunities for growth and a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Follows all Front End procedures
• Greets and thanks customers; provides a high level of prompt, friendly, professional customer service
• Efficiently and accurately scans orders; properly identifies items
• Accurately handles customer cash, credit / debit payments, WIC, EBT, checks, gift cards, and change
• Knowledgeable on weekly ad items; gives customers direction of product locations throughout the stores
• Bags customer groceries and takes them to customer cars, if needed, or properly asks for assistance on behalf of the customer
• Willingness to help with other tasks to maintain clean and orderly condition of the store, including but not limited to: stocking / facing shelves, dusting, maintaining employee breakroom, maintaining customer and employee restrooms, sweeping, collecting carts and baskets, etc.

Cashiers are responsible for cash register operations and for safeguarding company assets. Cashiers are responsible for processing sales quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service.
