Job summary

Kent State University is seeking an Applications Developer to design, develop, and maintain software applications on the Kent Campus with optional remote work. You will work in a collaborative SDI environment focused on delivering high-quality UI-focused solutions.

The ideal candidate combines front-end development skills with a passion for user-friendly interfaces and strong communication with clients and teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience designing, coding, testing, implementing, and maintaining moderately complex applications.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and team members to interpret complex requirements and translate them into quality technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications in a structured development lifecycle with IS security standards.
• Provide user support and documentation for multiple applications and ensure timely delivery and quality.
