Job summary

Summit Spine and Joint Centers in the United States is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for the Rome ASC. You will handle patient check-ins/check-outs, scheduling, insurance verification, and basic patient support in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center setting.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to multitask, and comfort with handling blood. Travel to other clinic locations may be needed; 1 year of clinical experience and EHR familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience using eClinicalWorks or other EHR system preferred.
• 1-year clinical experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicating directly with patients and their needs
• Greeting Patients: checking in, collecting copay, verifying insurance, preparing charts
• Checking out Patients: scheduling, referring, verifying prescription based on individual needs
• Assisting Patients to vehicle when necessary
• Effectively process messages between patients and administration or other medical offices
• Report to office manager and/or practice administrator
