Job summary

Planet Fitness in Bayamon, Puerto Rico is seeking friendly, customer-focused front desk staff to welcome members, handle check-ins, answer questions, and assist with billing inquiries. You will provide a warm, efficient experience, maintain a clean lobby, and participate in ongoing training to grow with the brand.

Bilingual abilities are a plus; opening/closing shifts are required. The role includes tours, promotions knowledge, and teamwork to create a welcoming Judgement Free Zone.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and front desk roles is preferred.
• Ability to listen and resolve member questions with empathy.
• Strong communication skills, both in person and by phone.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members and guests at the front desk.
• Check-in members, handle billing inquiries, and provide tours when needed.
• Maintain lobby cleanliness and be familiar with offerings and promotions.
• Operate POS system to enroll new members or answer billing questions.
• Support promotional events and adapt to training opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Flexible for opening or closing shifts.
• Be the face of our club, always say hello and goodbye to our guest.
• Be knowledgeable of our offerings, answer phones courteously and assist callers with their Planet Fitness questions.
• Facilitate an unforgettable experience at our front desk: check-in members, assist with billing inquiries, provide legendary tours, actively listen to member questions and escalade for a solution, log amenities to track usage and club performance.
• Be aware of company promotions, events and changes that will have an impact on the member experience.
• Be the expert of our POS system. This is critical, in order to enroll new members or assist current members with billing inquiries, updates to personal information or beverage/merchandise sales.
• Daily upkeep of our entryway, always have an eye for keeping the front of our house clean! This includes our windows, lobby and front desk, and any other area that needs attention.
• Focus on completion of our training courses and actively seek opportunities for additional development.
