The Front Office Night Auditor will count and balance cash, credit cards, and direct bill accounts, handle closing, balancing, and corrections for guest accounts, and provide high-level customer service to ensure personalized guest experiences.

Work Requirements

• Respond to guest needs, special requests, and complaints; alert managers as needed.
• Count and balance cash, credit cards, and direct bill accounts.
• Close, balance, and correct guest accounts as necessary.
• Investigate out-of-balance situations and make adjustments.
• Complete audit reports on the computer.
• Verify room rates and post charges to guest accounts.
• Track room revenues, occupancy, and other front office statistics.
• Assist as a Front Office Agent or Concierge when needed.
• Be familiar with emergency procedures and response protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Professional telephone etiquette and office skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Fluency in English; foreign language skills are a plus.
• Ability to use property management and point of sale systems.
• Proficient typing skills.
• Ability to suggestively sell.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions

• Perform in various temperature conditions indoors and outdoors.
