Salary Range:

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Evenings and Weekends Front Desk Manager for Wyndham Bloomington - Mall of America, Bloomington, MN.

Job Purpose:

While managing the front desk on pm night shift and weekends, you will respond in a professional and courteous manner to arriving, departing, and in-house guests by providing accurate and timely information and services. You will respond to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information, and guest concerns. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance will reassure guests they've made the right choice to stay with us.

The role includes maintaining guest service standards, managing and motivating front office staff, resolving guest complaints, overseeing reservations and departmental operations, conducting meetings, performing room inspections, assisting with guest check-in/check-out, and participating in the Manager on Duty program. The manager will supervise front desk operations, train staff, resolve customer issues promptly, and ensure high-quality service. Additional responsibilities include promoting hotel amenities, handling guest payments, managing safety and security protocols, and supporting sales initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School diploma / Secondary qualification or equivalent.

This job requires the ability to perform the following:

  • Effective communication in spoken and written form.
  • Basic computational and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of hotel services, city attractions, and emergency procedures.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 15 lbs, and perform related tasks for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity necessary for operating equipment and viewing screens.
