Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Front Desk Associate in Vernon, CT. You will welcome members, handle calls, and deliver friendly service while promoting memberships and promotions. The role requires flexibility for a rotating schedule and is based in at-will, in-person work with a focus on accuracy in handling transactions.

The position supports a high-pace retail environment, including maintaining cleanliness and assisting with product promotions. Prior retail or fitness experience is valued.

• A High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Six months face to face customer service experience in a retail environment required or 1-year Fitness experience preferred

The Front Desk Associate must be adept at balancing multiple tasks with a friendly, courteous demeanor.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Welcome and exit members in a confident, professional, and friendly manner with hellos and goodbyes.Anticipate member's needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all membersProvide gracious and efficient telephone service.
