Job summary

Island Hospitality is seeking a friendly Part-Time Front Desk Agent for the Residence Inn San Diego Downtown/Gaslamp Quarter. You are the first smile guests see and will help create a welcoming stay from check-in to check-out.

You will greet guests, process payments, handle inquiries, coordinate with other hotel departments, and maintain accurate records to ensure smooth service. A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Our team is looking for a friendly, upbeat, and guest-focused Part-Time Front Desk Agent to join us! In this role, you’ll be one of the first faces our guests see and an important part of creating a warm, welcoming experience from check-in to check-out.

You’ll assist with all aspects of front desk operations, answer questions, help create memorable stays, and serve as a helpful point of contact for our guests and vendors. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, communicates with confidence and kindness, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are exactly the same.

This position requires flexible scheduling availability, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements
Job Requirements:
  • Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude throughout their stay

  • Accurately process payments, charges, and adjustments in accordance with hotel policies and procedures

  • Maintain accurate guest records and ensure all front desk transactions are properly documented
  • Complete required shift reports and communicate important updates, guest needs, and operational information to the management team
