Job Description

The Front Desk Agent must have strong communication, telephone, and customer service skills. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to multitask. You should have an approachable and friendly attitude, able to meet and greet residents; check guests and service providers in/out; understand and react to emergency response and access control procedures; monitor and operate electronic security control systems; and accurately maintain daily logs, records, and forms.

Position Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
  • Monitor Emergency Response System.
  • Greet and direct Residents, guests, and invitees.
  • Monitor and control Electronic Security Control Systems.
  • Respond to emergency situations promptly and efficiently.
  • Control access to the building.
  • Maintain daily logs, records, and forms.
  • Resolve and follow-up on all complaints/issues.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the on-site property manager.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be punctual, have a good attendance record, reliable transportation, and be able to perform each duty safely and satisfactorily.

Education/Experience/Knowledge
  • Minimum 1-2 years of Front Desk experience.
  • Hospitality experience or college-level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Multilingual skills are desirable.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
Special Requirements
  • Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.
  • Work in upright standing or sitting position for extended periods.
  • Handle, grasp, and lift objects and packages.
  • Reach with hands and arms.
  • Communicate effectively via spoken and written words.
  • Navigate the property/building as required.
  • Complete all required forms.
  • Work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies.
