Ascent Hospitality is looking for a qualified hospitality leader to be our Front Desk Agent!

Guest Service / Front Desk Agent responsibilities include:
  • Completing all activities listed in the Front Desk checklist.
  • Performing marketing duties such as upselling to generate additional revenue.
  • Providing excellent service and satisfaction to guests and visitors.
  • Following security and liability measures to protect hotel assets.

Essential functions include:
  • Maintaining professional appearance and conduct.
  • Greeting guests warmly and responding to their requests.
  • Providing information about hotel services, rooms, and rates.
  • Using operational and selling techniques to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Completing registration and check-out processes accurately.
  • Handling payments and maintaining cash bank per policies.
  • Communicating effectively with hotel departments.
  • Ensuring rooms are ready for check-in and check-out.
  • Confirming group reservations and arranging personalized guest experiences.
  • Adhering to safety, security, and emergency procedures.
  • Operating front office systems and answering phones professionally.
  • Responding promptly to guest complaints and escalating issues as needed.
  • Working flexible hours as required.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Previous hotel front desk experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in English and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to operate office equipment.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
Physical demands:
  • Standing for long periods, repetitive arm/hand movements.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Visual and physical stress management.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Six months of related experience or customer service training preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
