Job summary

Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to welcome guests and ensure a memorable stay. You will manage check-ins/outs, address inquiries, and provide recommendations on attractions and dining in the Lake Tahoe area.

Strong communication, customer service experience, and cash handling skills are required, with knowledge of hotel PMS software. Flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with hotel property management software.

As a Front Desk Agent, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests feel valued and cared for from the moment they arrive.

Summary:

• Provide exceptional customer service, creating a positive first impression for guests
• Efficiently handle guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism and empathy
• Assist guests with recommendations and information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities

• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous cash handling experience required

• Proficiency in computer systems and knowledge of hotel property management software
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High School diploma or equivalent
