Description

A Guest Services Agent is responsible for greeting and registering guests, checking guests out, and ensuring outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Responsibilities

1. Greet guests, complete registration, input and retrieve information, confirm details, select rooms, code electronic keys, promote marketing programs, provide welcome packets, and guide guests to their rooms.
2. Assist with check-out, ensuring accurate billing, handling payments, and processing transactions including foreign currency conversions.
3. Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel offerings, local area, and general information to answer guest inquiries.
4. Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize occupancy.
5. Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, resolving issues efficiently and courteously.
6. Handle guest complaints, conduct research, and negotiate solutions for satisfaction.
7. Receive, relay, and manage guest messages.
