Job description

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for being the first point of contact as well as the first impression with guests, handling all stages of a guest’s stay which can include multitasking, and performing the following duties in a manner that reflects our hotel’s vision, mission, and core values.

Responsibilities:
  1. Operate hotel switchboard, take calls and provide information and transfer calls.
  2. Take reservations in person, via email, or over the phone, including group bookings.
  3. Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, dining, and travel directions.
  4. Greet guests and patrons to find out their room needs as well as the reason for their visit and manage the registration process.
  5. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address and resolve guest concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
  1. Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality.
  2. Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required—we welcome applicants at all experience levels.
  3. Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
  4. Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  5. Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Compensation:

$14 per hour
