Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott El Paso Downtown is seeking a friendly, energetic Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team at the El Paso Courtyard Downtown-EPC location. You will welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, and share information about amenities, services, and local dining in a fast-paced environment.

Your role requires great communication, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy.

Qualifications

• Hotel or customer service experience preferred.
• Front Desk experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and welcoming personality.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills; PMS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Check-in and check-out guests accurately and efficiently.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, local attractions, and dining options.
• Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process payments, room charges, and other transactions accurately.
• Maintain accurate guest information and follow hotel procedures.
• Answer calls and assist guests with reservations and inquiries.
• Monitor room availability and assist with room assignments.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B, and other departments.
• Promote Marriott Bonvoy benefits when appropriate.
• Follow safety, security, and guest-service standards.
• Protect guest privacy and confidential information.
• Address guest concerns and escalate to management when necessary.
• Assist with other front office duties as needed.

Requirements

• Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred.
• Previous Front Desk experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills; hotel property-management system experience is a plus.
• Professional appearance and good personal hygiene.
