Front Desk Agent - Ascent Hospitality

We are seeking a dedicated hospitality leader to join us as a Front Desk Agent.

Responsibilities include:

1. Completing all activities listed in the Front Desk checklist.
2. Performing marketing duties such as upselling to generate additional revenue.
3. Providing excellent service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
4. Following security and liability measures to protect hotel assets.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
• Greet guests warmly, provide information, and assist with check-in/check-out processes.
• Maximize occupancy and revenue through operational and selling techniques.
• Handle payments, verify credit cards, and balance cash bank.
• Communicate effectively with all hotel departments.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and complaints.
• Adhere to safety, security, and emergency procedures.
• Operate front office systems and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous hotel front desk experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computers and office equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
• Strong customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 6 months of related experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for long periods and handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.

• Capable of working in stressful situations.
