Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking energetic Front Desk Team Members to join our health and fitness focused team in a welcoming, Judgement Free Zone. You will greet members, handle inquiries, support tours, and assist with memberships while maintaining a clean and safe facility.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with members and team members in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Follow verbal communication, including scripts for member services such as info calls, tours, cancellations, and rate reviews.
• Use technology to service members and demonstrate equipment.
• Certify in CPR/AED training and perform CPR when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, locker areas, showers, and club facilities.
• Adhere to safety and sanitization guidelines and assist with other duties as assigned.

Essential Front Desk duties

• Communicate with our members and TMs in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Follow verbal communication. This includes communication from members, TMs, and supervisors.
• Follow written communication. This includes prepared scripts for multiple member services, such as info calls, tours, cancellations, and rate reviews.
• Use different types of technology to service members:
• Certify in both CPR and AED training.
• Perform CPR and use the AED machine.
• Use and understand our exercise equipment and be able to demonstrate its use to members.
• Cleaning & maintaining restrooms, locker area, showers, Black Card Spa amenities, entry way, club floor, exercise equipment.
• Cleaning includes, but is not limited to, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, wiping, disposing of trash, and handling chemicals.
• Comply with all safety & sanitization guidelines.
• Other duties assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Talk and hear.
• Use of hands and fingers to handle or feel.
• Repetitively reach with arms and hands, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, and twist.
• The employee must occasionally lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
