Job summary

Ono Hawaiian BBQ in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Front Crew member to deliver friendly, efficient service, take orders, operate the POS, and maintain a clean and safe dining area.

You may work part-time or full-time. A Food Handler Card, basic English proficiency, and reliable transportation are required. We offer medical/dental/vision, 401(k) matching, paid sick time, and employee meal discounts.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Card required by the state or local health department.
• Basic math skills, proficient English written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with health codes and safety procedures.
• Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Understand and comply with Front Crew Training Guideline.
• Provide customer service, greet customers, and assist customers with their orders.
• Promote marketing promotions, and new product items to customers.
• Operate Point-of-Sale (POS) system, handling payment, serve food to customers.
• Perform cashier closing and daily closing procedure at the end of each shift or day.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the store by performing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
