The role requires early mornings, weekends, and holidays; you’ll follow established recipes, maintain cleanliness, and collaborate with culinary and café teams to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous baking or pastry experience preferred.
• Comfortable following detailed recipes and established preparation methods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple production needs.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move items as required.
• Availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake pastries, breads, desserts, and other café favorites according to family recipes and standards.
• Follow recipes carefully to ensure consistent flavor, texture, appearance, and quality.
• Measure, mix, portion, shape, bake, decorate, and finish products as needed.
• Prepare daily production based on café needs while maintaining freshness and minimizing waste.
• Maintain proper food handling, storage, labeling, rotation, and sanitation practices.
• Keep bakery equipment, workstations, and preparation areas clean and organized.
• Monitor ingredient levels and communicate product or supply needs to leadership.
• Handle recipes and preparation methods with care, respecting traditions and standards.
• Work collaboratively with culinary and café teams to ensure products are ready for daily service.
• Take pride in presentation and ensure every item served reflects the quality of our café.
