Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ is seeking Entertainment Characters to portray costumed characters outdoors. Auditions are mandatory, with daily audition sessions during the season. The role involves high-energy guest interaction and maintaining character integrity in various weather conditions, including heat and sun.

Earn $19.00 per hour and enjoy park perks. Candidates must be at least 16, available Thu-Sun including nights and holidays, and able to work a minimum of 12 shifts Sept

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16.
• Ability to work Thu-Sun including nights and holidays Sep–Nov.
• Able to work a minimum of 12 shifts from Sept 12–Oct 31 and be able to work until park closing.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Promote the park with enthusiasm and pride.
• Make costumed appearances as directed by management/standards.
• Perform in accordance with guidelines to maintain character integrity.
• Maintain illusion and daily care of costumes and accessories.
• Swipe in and out daily to ensure correct pay.
• Maintain attendance and be on time for all sets.
• Ensure guest safety and satisfaction at Six Flags.
• Meet standards of performance for areas of responsibility.
• Maintain clean working environment visible to guests and backstage.
• Resolve guest concerns daily.
• Ensure image, cleanliness, and courtesy standards.
• Cooperate with team members and managers.
• Complete all tasks requested by Six Flags Management.
