Job summary

Johnny's Markets' Subway restaurant in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring a Sandwich Artist to greet guests, take orders, and assemble meals to customer specs using fresh ingredients.

You’ll handle cash, take phone orders, and keep the area clean, with full-time benefits and opportunities for raises; medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off, and more after 60 days and 6 months as applicable.

Qualifications

• Strong communication to interact with customers and staff.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English and follow manuals.
• Ability to count cash and make change.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 35 lbs and push buttons.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter the restaurant.
• Accurately record orders, total, take payment, and make change.
• Take phone orders and write up delivery tickets.
• Prepare food following guidelines for portions and recipes.
• Keep the restaurant clean and sanitary.
• Dress in a clean uniform and presentable appearance.
