Job summary

Hy-Vee in Winona, MN is seeking a Produce Clerk to keep the department stocked, fresh, and inviting while delivering friendly service to every customer.

In this part-time role you will greet customers, rotate and replenish products, check deliveries, and maintain cleanliness and safety in the produce area. You’ll work with the team to ensure accurate pricing and stock levels throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• Less than high school diploma or equivalent accepted.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; we'll provide all the training you need to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting every customer with a smile and assisting with their needs.
• Review freshness and rotate stock to maintain quality standards.
• Ensure an adequate product supply is ready and on hand; develop or follow a production list and anticipate daily product needs for the department.
• Check in product, put product away, and review invoices as needed.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish product as necessary.
• Practice proper sanitation procedures and keep the work area clean, neat, and safe at all times.
• Remove trash and assist with general department upkeep.
• Order product and supplies and price products for customers as needed.
• Answer the phone promptly and provide friendly, helpful service to customers who call.
• Follow Hy-Vee's dress code, hygiene standards, and all department and company guidelines.
• Pitch in with other tasks or special projects as they come up
