Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a part-time Cashier/Food Service Worker for the Township of Ocean School District. You will operate the cash register, handle cash and credit transactions, and greet customers with a friendly, customer-first approach.

You’ll assist in setting up and serving from counters and steam tables, support retail operations, maintain supplies, and help with cleanup. Flexible shifts and benefits are offered; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and complete transactions with a customer-first approach.
• Work in the food service operation, handling cash and credit transactions from Sodexo and client customers.
• Assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steamtables, provide support to the retail operation including setup and cleanup.
• Attend shifts on time and reliably, with flexible days/hours as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned based on client requirements.
