Job summary

American Dining Creations in Tyler, Texas seeks a Dining Worker/Server to deliver outstanding customer service and handle food preparation duties. You will greet guests, serve menu items from a station or serving line, and support the cashier as needed.

This role requires teamwork, ability to follow health and safety guidelines, and the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs. Previous customer service or food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years prior experience in a Customer Service, Food Service, or Retail position preferred.
• Able to work well with others as well as excel independently.
• Time management skills and task focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read, write, communicate effectively.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs, bend, climb stairs, stand, and walk for entire scheduled shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow established recipes to prepare and serve menu items for a food station.
• Greet and serve guests in a fast, efficient, and friendly manner.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure correct serving temperatures and adequate portion control, temperature logs, and dates.
• Provide guests with information regarding food ingredients, availability, and pricing.
• Cashier duties may include operating a POS, accept payment for food and beverage purchases.
• Assist with labels and packaging food for take-out menus and mobile ordering.
• Escalate customer concerns and complaints to management.
• Clean, organize, and maintain kitchen, equipment, utensils, and general areas.
• May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.
