Job summary

Central BBQ, LLC in Memphis seeks a friendly Cashier to be the vital link between guests and our legendary BBQ. You will handle accurate transactions, provide expert hospitality, and ensure seamless service from entry to exit in a fast-paced setting.

This role also involves managing the dessert station, serving beverages, and maintaining a clean, inviting front counter. You will balance cash at shift end and support teammates to uphold service standards.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and POS transactions with accuracy.
• Detailed money balancing at end of shift.
• Strong customer service and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to stay clean and organized under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare bills and take payments; balance receipts.
• Provide welcoming, efficient guest service and upsell where appropriate.
• Own the dessert station: warm items, scoop ice cream, wrap desserts for serving/takeout.
• Maintain front-of-house sanitation including sweeping and mopping.
• Stock serving station beverages and condiments; refill as needed.
• Attend meetings and assist teammates to ensure smooth guest service.
