Job summary

Joseph’s Classic Market is seeking a friendly Cashier Associate to greet customers, scan items, handle payments, and provide a fast, accurate checkout experience.

You’ll work at a register station in a busy retail setting, delivering standout service while helping protect store profitability and maintain an organized environment. Prior cashier or customer service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Prior cashier or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude.
• A passion for serving people.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer service that meets the Joseph’s Classic Market standard.
• Weigh, scan, and accurately ring up products.
• Accept various forms of payment and provide correct change.
• Handle cash, credit, and other tender types accurately.
• Bag products efficiently and safely.
• Keep the register area clean and organized.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.
