Job summary

Schnucks is hiring a Bakery Clerk for the Dardenne Crossing location (Hwy K & Hwy N) in Saint Peters, MO. Part-time, approximately 20-25 hours/week. Training provided at store level. Must be available till 6pm and on weekends.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, stocking displays, preparing baked goods, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods is required.

Qualifications

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Assist customers with product selections, including suggestive selling.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming products from bakery plant and direct store delivery vendors.
• Package fresh-baked products and slice/wrap bread.
• Stock product displays in cases and on shelves; rotate products and straighten displays.
• Prepare out-dated product for thrift stores and order decorated cakes from bakery plant.
• Bake cookies and maintain cleanliness per safety and sanitation procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by store management.
