Metropolitan Pediatric Dental Associates is an American Board of Pediatric Dentistry Certified specialty dental office for infants, toddlers, pre-teens, and teens, with locations throughout the Twin Cities including St. Paul, Fridley, North Oaks, and Eagan. Responsibilities

• Present the patient to the doctor
• Clean the patient’s teeth
• Apply fluoride treatments
• Take, expose, and develop digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic)
• Provide hygiene and diet education
• Assist the dentist during treatment procedures in-office or hospital
• Take impressions
• Schedule follow-up exams
• Review schedule to ensure proper appointment planning
• Set up and clean up dental chairs and operatory rooms
• Discuss treatment plans with parents
• Clean and sterilize instruments
• Perform lab work
• Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization areas
• Help decorate the office for birthdays and holidays
• Maintain infection control and OSHA guidelines
• Write referral letters
