Solvus Global is seeking a full-time Friction Stir Welding Engineer in Massachusetts to join a cross-disciplinary, high-tech manufacturing team. You will develop welding parameters, build large parts for customers, select materials, design fixturing, and drive the business case for friction stir additive manufacturing.
The role requires at least 5 years in Friction Stir Welding, experience designing fixtures, and CAD/CAM with g-code.

We are looking for a full-time Friction Stir Welding Engineer who loves working in a dynamic landscape and is excited to grow with a team around high-tech products in the manufacturing sector. As an engineer with Solvus Global you will work with team members from many fields (mechanical, controls, software, etc.) to define the problem space, propose a solution, design the architecture, manage projects, and co-develop the final product. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing Friction Stir Welding parameters, building large parts for customers, selecting ideal materials, designing fixturing, and driving the business case for friction stir additive manufacturing.
$110,000 - $160,000
This salary range is a good-faith estimate, and the final offer will be based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, skills, and our internal equity analysis.
