Job summary

Pixoate is seeking an early-career software engineer to work on the AI-powered image, PDF and document tools backend and frontend. You'll tackle scoped problems, receive code-review feedback, and gain increasing ownership as you demonstrate reliable delivery.

The stack includes Node.js, Next.js, React, TypeScript, Python, Express, REST APIs, MongoDB, Redis, Docker and GitHub Actions. This is a fully remote role based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Node.js and Next.js.
• Familiarity with React, TypeScript and Python.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, databases and Git.
• Evidence of learning through personal, college or open-source work.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain product features across frontend and backend services.

Join Pixoate as an early-career software engineer and work across the services and interfaces behind our AI-powered image, PDF and document tools. You will receive scoped problems, code-review feedback and increasing ownership as you demonstrate reliable delivery.

The current stack includes Node.js, Next.js, React, TypeScript, Python, Express, REST APIs, MongoDB, Redis, Docker and GitHub Actions. No professional experience is required. We value strong fundamentals and evidence of learning through personal, college, open-source or freelance projects over a specific degree or previous job title.

The advertised annual base-salary range is USD 20,000–80,000. The final offer within that range depends on skills, interview evidence, location and employment arrangements.

Hiring process: Application review → Practical coding assessment → Technical conversation → Founder discussion → Decision.

This is a fully remote role. Applicants must be based in United States.
