Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is seeking a full-time Cold Food (Salad) worker at Premier Health in Dayton, OH. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:30 am to 2:00 pm with online applications accepted only.

Responsibilities include slicing meats and cheeses, preparing sandwiches and salads, stocking products, and maintaining HACCP-compliant, clean prep and serving areas. On-site kitchen work with training opportunities within Morrison Healthcare.

Qualifications

Experience in food service or packaging preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements.
Prepares sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments and salads using approved production standards.
Stocks and replenishes deli products and condiments following merchandising guidelines.
Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstation, stove and refrigerator.
Stores food following HACCP standard wrapping, dating and rotation procedures.
Cleans, sanitizes and maintains counters, work surfaces, refrigeration units and floors.
Cuts slices on deli meat/cheese using a slicer and adjusts thickness.
Interacts with coworkers to ensure compliance with service standards and inventory.
Maintains a clean, safe work environment and safety requirements.
