Job summary

Santa Monica Seafood is seeking experienced warehouse associates for fresh room, dock and freezer roles. The position is full-time with competitive pay and benefits, including 401(k), paid vacation, sick time, and personal days.

work schedule Sundays through Thursday 9am-5pm; pay rate $17.50-$18.00 per hour DOE. Responsibilities include receiving/unloading, packing orders, maintaining product organization and safety, and operating equipment like forklift and pallet wrappers.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and unloading of incoming product.
• Inspects fresh product returns and ensures proper handling.
• Pulls and packs product based on daily orders.
• Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
• Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation.
• Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
• Operates various pieces of equipment (Bendi, Dolly Loader, Pallet Wrapper, Forklift).
• Reports any mechanical problems.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary and safe work area.
• Completes daily checklists.
• High level of accuracy and detail oriented.
• Responsible for ensuring adherence to Federal and State safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by Plant Manager

• Previous warehouse experience required
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs & 100 lbs required.
