Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club on Merritt Island is seeking a part-time Produce Associate to stock, display, rotate, and replenish fresh fruits and vegetables in the department. You’ll help Members with product knowledge and ensure adherence to quality standards on shifts including Thursday through Saturday from 1pm to 9pm.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and a friendly, efficient customer experience—maintaining signage, shelves, and inventory while supporting a positive club atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a produce department preferred.
• Knowledge of fruit and vegetables preferred, including seasonal items.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist Members in the produce department by answering questions and guiding to products.
• Inspect, rotate, and store produce to meet quality standards.
• Rotate produce on the sales floor to maintain freshness and variety; keep displays neat and stocked.
• Maintain the produce reserve stock area; date and rotate back stock.
• Follow guidelines for disposing of damaged, spoiled, or expired products.
• Assist Fresh Manager with inventory and order processing as needed.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and display fixtures in the produce area.
• Generate signage and ensure items are labeled and priced correctly.
• Maintain club policies and participate in other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance as essential.
