Job summary

Akri USA is seeking a Fresh Produce Department Manager in Irvine, CA to lead daily operations in our fresh foods section. You will supervise cutting fish and meat, trim and prepare ready-to-eat items, maintain cleaning standards, manage basic inventory, and provide simple reports to supervisors.

This role requires shift-based, 40 hours per week with two days off, and opportunities to work at multiple store locations.

Qualifications

• Ability to fillet fish or cut meat.
• Experience managing the fresh food department in a retail store preferred.
• Examples: Experience as a chef at a sushi restaurant, or handling meat cutting/cooking in other restaurants is welcome!
