Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Produce Department team member to help sort, display, and replenish fresh fruits and vegetables. You will assist Members with product knowledge and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness in the department.

Responsibilities include stocking displays, rotating stock for freshness, and supporting inventory and pricing efforts. This on-site role requires teamwork and a commitment to exceptional member service.

Qualifications

• Produce department experience preferred.
• Knowledge of fruit and vegetables preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist Members in the Produce Department by answering questions and helping locate items.
• Inspect, rotate, and store produce upon delivery to maintain freshness and quality.
• Rotate displays on the sales floor and keep cases fully stocked and neatly presented.
• Maintain the produce reserve stock area and date rotate back stock as needed.
• Dispose of damaged or expired products according to guidelines.
• Assist the Fresh Manager with inventory and order processing as required.
• Clean and sanitize produce equipment and display fixtures regularly.
• Create clear signage and perform price checks when necessary.
