Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking personnel for 2nd shift at our Fresh Plant in the United States. The Hanger role involves manual handling of live birds, standing for long periods, and operating in a cold, dusty environment.

Candidates must pass background checks and be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as production requires. Responsibilities include maintaining product flow, assisting with line breaks, and performing packing, sorting, and material handling with strict adherence to hygiene

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous product flow on production lines to support efficiency and throughput.
• Relieve Team Members on the production line for breaks, lunches, and absences.
• Fill in for open positions during labor shortages to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Perform multiple production tasks as assigned, including packing, sorting, staging, and material handling.
• Assist with product movement between production areas to prevent downtime or congestion.
• Monitor work areas to ensure product quality, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Follow SOPs related to fresh product handling and assist supervisors by responding quickly to production needs.
• Identify and report safety hazards, equipment issues, or product concerns immediately.
