Job summary

H-E-B seeks a Perishable Representative to maintain a well-stocked, clean, and inviting department while delivering exceptional customer service. You will prepare and merchandise fresh products daily, rotate stock, label items, and assist customers with selections.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, operating department equipment, and supporting various sections (Meat, Produce, Seafood, Floral) as needed. Physical demands and lifting are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Age 18+
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Customer service and communication
• Education: HS Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
• Licenses/Certifications: Completion of Company Orientation and Safety Training

Responsibilities

• Provides superior customer service to customers in person and by phone.
• Prepares, packages, and merchandises fresh product.
• Maintains food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assists in department duties and seasonal tasks as needed.
