Job summary

Wegmans in Sporting Hill, PA is seeking a Meat Counter Associate to educate customers on different types and cuts of meat and to ensure the freshest products are available throughout the day. You will work with a team in a fast-paced environment to provide exceptional service and maintain display quality.

You will also help with unloading deliveries, stocking cases, prepping items for display, and labeling products, contributing to a smooth, customer-focused operation at the store.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in food retail or grocery setting.
• Ability to educate customers on meat types, cuts and preparation.
• Comfort with standing and walking for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at the meat counter.
• Keep shelves and service counter stocked with fresh products.
• Take orders and prepare items for display by cutting, packaging, and labeling.
• Unload deliveries and stock cases, displays and backroom coolers as needed.
