Job summary

Wegmans is seeking a meat department team member to educate customers on the different types and cuts of meat and ensure the freshest products are available throughout the day. If you love food and helping shoppers, this role is for you.

You will provide exceptional service, stock shelves and service counters, take orders, and prepare items for display by cutting, packaging and labeling. You may unload deliveries and support backroom operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with or knowledge of different cuts of meat and poultry.
• Collective customer service experience in food service, grocery or retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide incredible service to our customers.
• Keep shelves and service counter stocked with fresh products.
• Take orders and prepare items for display by cutting, packaging and labeling products.
• May unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays and backroom coolers with new and existing products/inventory.
