Job summary

Walmart in Utica, MI is seeking a Team Member for our prepared foods area and rotisserie chicken. You will prepare ready-to-eat items, wrap and label merchandise, and help with bakery orders to ensure fresh, high-quality products for members.

You will maintain food safety, temperature control, and inventory, while assisting customers and supporting store operations with a friendly, efficient approach.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety)

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared foods, collaborates with cross-functional teams, educates other associates on tools and tasks, communicates effectively, and adapts to business needs.
• Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications, plans future productions, seasons for demand, follows food safety and sanitation guidelines, and maintains equipment.
• Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, enhance shopping experience, and engage associates; uses handheld tech for decisions.
• Be an Owner: Manages area performance, handles inventory, rotates merchandise, ensures quality/date control, reduces waste, assists customers.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Promotes high-quality service and products, supports team and demonstrates energy and commitment.
• Complies with company policies and ethics; follows Open Door Policy and business processes.
