Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver a fresh, welcoming store experience within our Fresh departments and to help customers find what they need. You will build connections with customers and teammates, share product knowledge, and keep displays full and visually appealing.

You will also use technology to complete tasks accurately, follow food safety standards, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. If you enjoy active, customer-facing work, this role could be a great fit.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
