Meijer is a family company serving people and communities. As a Food Clerk, you’ll help deliver a fresh, welcoming store experience in our Fresh departments, building positive connections with customers and teammates while keeping displays inviting and product knowledge ready.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, stock and merchandise across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery, follow safety standards, and use store technology to complete tasks accurately.

Qualifications

• Must have customer-service orientation and ability to engage customers.
• Comfortable using store technology and systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and processes.
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move during shifts.

Responsabilités

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
• Every shift, your work helps keep our store running smoothly and our customers coming back.
