Job summary

Meijer in Fort Wayne is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, efficient service in our Fresh departments. You will assist customers, share product knowledge, and keep displays clean and inviting.

You will develop customer relationships, stock and rotate items, and use store tech to complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced setting. Training is provided and growth opportunities exist.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
