Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in our Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers, help them find products, and keep displays fresh and organized.

Stocking, merchandising, and using technology to complete tasks accurately are core parts of the role. Prior retail or food service experience helps but is not required. Weekly pay and benefits accompany each shift.

Responsibilities

• As a Food Clerk, provide friendly service and help customers in Fresh departments.
• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Maintain fresh, visible product displays and accurate merchandising.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products per standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Support cross-department operations in Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery.
