Job summary

Meijer in United States, Michigan is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in our Fresh departments. You’ll help customers find what they need, keep displays fresh, and support store operations in a fast-paced retail setting.

You’ll work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery, using store technology to process tasks, stocking, and safety compliance. A friendly, customer-first mindset and reliability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Comfort learning and using job-specific technology.

• Willingness to follow food safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
