Meijer Inc. is hiring a Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service in our Fresh departments. You will greet customers, share product knowledge, and help maintain clean, well-stocked displays while staying active in a fast-paced store environment.

You will build positive connections with customers and teammates, use technology to complete tasks, and follow food safety and quality procedures to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
