Job summary

WinCo Foods in Boise is seeking a customer-service focused Fresh Foods associate to support the Deli/Seafood/Pizza departments. You will operate and maintain production areas, prepare pizzas and other items for sale, and assist customers with friendly service.

Responsibilities include receiving inventory, stocking designated areas, and complying with food safety procedures while maintaining clean, sanitary conditions and accurate product labeling.

Qualifications

• Able to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Read production guides, recipes and product labels.
• Perform basic math and measurements.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Complete required training and maintain safety standards.
• Food Handlers Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with over-the-counter service in Fresh Foods.
• Operate and maintain Deli/Seafood/Pizza areas and prepare items for sale.
• Receive inventory and stock designated areas.
• Follow strict sanitary guidelines and ensure food safety compliance.
• Maintain clean and sanitary department and assist with restocking and signage.
