Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Indiana is seeking a Fresh Food Coordinators to oversee the preparation, presentation, and quality of fresh food items while maintaining safety and sanitation standards. You will assist in ensuring smooth kitchen operations in a dynamic team setting.

Responsibilities include keeping a safe, clean kitchen, supporting the Fresh Food Manager, coaching staff, managing inventory and supplier coordination, and helping with pricing and promotions to meet profitability goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Assist the Fresh Food Manager with proper task execution and completion while following effective safety practices
• Work with and coach the team to prepare and package fresh kitchen items in a timely manner to maximize customer service expectations and results
• Manage food inventory and ordering supplies to ensure stock is fresh and adequate
• Coordinate with suppliers and manage waste reduction efforts
• Assist in pricing, promotions, and ensure the deli meets profitability goals
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Team Member, facility maintenance, and leadership roles.
