Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver a friendly, efficient store experience in our Fresh departments. You will engage with customers, share product knowledge, stock and merchandise displays, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

You’ll work across departments, use store technology, follow food safety procedures, and stay active in a fast-paced retail setting while supporting team goals and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
