Job summary

Delaware Valley Floral Group (DVFG) is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to safely and efficiently deliver fresh floral products across Long Island and the five boroughs. You will operate a refrigerated box truck, ensure accurate deliveries, and maintain vehicle and product quality while providing exceptional customer service.

This full-time role starts early, involves occasional Saturdays, and requires at least 2 years of commercial driving experience, a valid license (CDL not required), and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience operating commercial vehicles, including 16ft box trucks or larger.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT Medical Certification (CDL not required).
• Acceptable driving record
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 pounds regularly
• Comfortable using GPS, maps, and route planning tools
• Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
• Dependable, team-oriented, and safety-focused mindset
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a refrigerated box truck to complete daily delivery routes
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of fresh flowers and floral products to customers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicle and work environment
• Build positive relationships with customers through professional communication and service
• Utilize maps, GPS, and routing information to maximize delivery efficiency
• Load, unload, and transport products safely while maintaining product quality standards
• Support warehouse operations and product handling activities as needed
• Follow all company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations
