Job summary

H.E.B. in Fort Worth seeks a Production Specialist to provide customers with fresh, in-store products, emphasizing hot foods like rotisserie chicken and sandwiches. You will maintain department and food safety standards and SOP compliance to ensure accurate, high-quality offerings.

You will prepare, package, and stock fresh items, support multiple cooking venues, and assist with catering orders as needed, while delivering fast, accurate service in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• 18+ age requirement
• 1+ years of experience in commercial foodservice
• Experience in food preparation and equipment
• Culinary certification, or equivalent culinary training / work experience

Responsibilities

• Cuts, slices, dices, chops food for recipe preparation; preps in accordance with recipe specifications and SOPs
• Uses multiple and more complex production planning tools for all products to ensure 100% in-stocks
• Completes tasks at assigned workstation
• Assists in multiple cooking venues
• Assists in technical areas, and with catering orders, as needed
• Masters recipe preparation, including daily production to account for raw material variations and customer demand
• Prepares, packages, and stocks fresh product
• Performs other duties as needed
